Retracement surveying is an evidentiary-based exercise using boundary location doctrines defined by our AZ courts to help determine where your title documents are located on the ground.
ALTA surveys are a special type of boundary retracement survey governed by a set of standards in accordance with the American Land Title Association and the National Society of Professional Surveyors.
An initial-boundary retracement survey of the exterior boundary will be performed. New property corners will be monumented along with new easements and legal descriptions written. A “record of survey” drawing will be filed with the proper recording office.
With a thorough grasp of the rules of construction, we can decipher the legalese language and provide an AutoCAD drawing of your legal description which then can be related to the real world.
